A Healthy Dog is a Happy Dog 〰️

Abbey has been working in the animal industry since 2018. She started her career at a local dog shelter where she found her passion in dog behaviour. Many of the dogs where being surrendered from a lack of understanding in dog behaviour. Wanting to help the dogs find their forever homes she began her studies, completing Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training.

Abbey’s goal is to help people develop  their skills, understanding and communication with their dogs. She does this by using scientific and evidence based training methods that are kind, effective and tailored to each individual dog and family. With this approach she is able to help the bond between human and dog grow into a deep, positive relationship.

She has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of dogs and clients through the shelter, puppy and adult classes, consults and walk and train work.

Abbey has also continued to learn more from the industry leaders and her mentors and is currently studying Kim Brophey’s L.E.G.S Applied Ethology family dog mediation professional course to further her education.

Abbey loves all animals but has found a deep connection to dogs. She loves all breeds and personalities but can’t help but hold a special place in her heart for staffys.  She cannot wait to adopt one into her home soon.

Abbey consults across Sydney with expertise in the following:
