A Healthy Dog is a Happy Dog 〰️

Jade has been working with dogs since 2013 and builds close connections with every dog she works with. Jade’s love for animals and ease with dogs is obvious to everyone who meets her. Jade has always had a fascination with animals and their behaviour, leading her to complete a Bachelor of  Animal and Veterinary Bio-science at the University of Sydney and also Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training.

Jade’s principles and philosophies are founded on using science and evidence based training methods when working with behaviour modification and mediating the relationship between dogs and their caregivers. Jade believes that using positive reinforcement is the most effective way in building relationships between people and their dogs.

Jade is starting on her long term goal of helping in her own way with shelter dogs in many different ways. From helping the rescue shelters and groups themselves in evaluating and re-homing shelter dogs up for adoption to helping the general public. Working directly with the people that bring these dogs into their lives through education on behaviour as well as helping people build mutually rewarding relationship with their dogs, so that they don’t end up in rescues in the first place.

The areas of dog training that Jade primarily consults on are:

  • Separation anxiety

  • Generalised anxiety

  • Dog-related aggression

  • Living in multi-dog households

  • Building the confidence of nervous dogs

  • Hyper arousal issues

  • Leash reactivity

  • Leash pulling

  • Barking in the home

  • Destructive chewing and digging

  • Teaching puppy schools
