Our food has been developed by a team of board-certified veterinary nutritionists, alongside Lyka Co-founder and Integrative Veterinarian Dr Matthew Muir.

Is Lyka suitable for puppies?
Yes! Quality nutrition is key to raising a healthy and well-adjusted puppy. Lyka's meals are complete and balanced, for all life stages including puppies: formulated by a team of board-certified veterinary nutritionists, to go above and beyond AAFCO and FEDIAF standards – helping puppies thrive.
Although tiny, they need more daily nutrients than adults to fuel growth at a healthy rate, so balanced, nutrient-dense diets provide the highest possible benefit from the small amounts of food they can eat.
As they grow, you can simply update their weight in your account and we'll adjust their serving size accordingly.
How much does Lyka cost?
Our price depends on your pup's serving size, which is calculated based on their weight, breed, age, and activity level. To get your exact price and serving size, simply answer a few quick questions about your dog here.
How do I store my Lyka meals?
Keep your meals in the refrigerator or freezer. Lyka's meals contain no artificial preservatives, which means they won't keep forever. (We think that's a good thing.)
You can store your pouches in the freezer for 6 months, or in the fridge for 7 days unopened and 3 days opened. They can also be refrozen once after being defrosted.
Simply remove the pouches a little before mealtimes and pop them in a bowl of hot water to defrost. Alternatively, you can move the next day's pouch to the fridge the night before, so it slowly defrosts overnight.
Can I mix it Lyka with other dog food?
Yes you can! When moving your pup over to our Lyka meals, we do recommend a gradual transition (where you mix your pup’s current food with their Lyka meals), so that your pup’s gut microbiome has time to adjust to the new and exciting ingredients.
You can also opt for our half Lyka plan where you receive half your dog’s usual portion to mix with other food.
